- Dr. Harry
Dr. Harrison "Harry" Weisinger is one of Australia's only experts qualified in both medicine and optometry, and has worked across the UK, Australia, Europe, and the United States. With a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, a Masters in Nutrition, as well as a medical degree, he has spent decades in research, publishing breakthrough studies in Nature Medicine, Science, and PNAS. His research fellowships at prestigious institutions, including the NIH and the Howard Florey Institute, have positioned him at the forefront of medical science and clinical innovation.
Dr Harry's relentless drive to learn and understand, combined with his own experience overcoming serious health challenges, makes him uniquely qualified to guide high-performing individuals. From age 18, he has faced Crohn's disease, cancer (non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma), cardiovascular disease and a total hip replacement. He has been hospitalised 40 times, including two bowel resections for Crohn’s. Overcoming these challenges fuelled his commitment to learning everything possible that might help others, which is why he reads only non-fiction, knowing there's more knowledge than one lifetime allows. Since turning 40, his health has been exceptional.
As an elite athlete who has competed in Masters cycling championships, Dr. Harry applies the same precision that rebuilt his own health to global business leaders, Olympic athletes, and high performers who refuse to settle for average. Through My Performance Doctor, he delivers diagnostics and interventions that extend healthspan and optimise performance.
He also co-created Kurk, a science-backed nutraceutical used by Olympians and endorsed by Tom Hardy, Lyndon Lea, Andreaa Horwood, Bill Moss AO and Dame Mary Perkins. Dr Harry lives in Victoria with his accomplished wife Stephanie and is a father of four children. He's built his life around quality time with family and living with purpose - the drive that comes from knowing what it means to fight back and win, combined with a relentless passion to improve his health and that of his patients.
